Summary
Plan, organise, and manage daily dispatch and distribution activities.
• Coordinate the timely loading, dispatch, and delivery of products.
• Supervise dispatch coordinators, warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics personnel.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Optimise transport routes to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Investigate and resolve delivery issues, customer complaints, and operational delays.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, inventory movements, and transport documentation.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery performance, transport costs, and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with warehouse, procurement, sales, and customer service teams to improve operations.
• Manage logistics budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Train, coach, and evaluate dispatch and distribution staff.
• Prepare operational reports for senior management
