About the Role

As Marketing Executive, you will support the Marketing Manager with planning and delivering marketing campaigns and activities. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys a varied role, from hands-on tasks to planning campaigns, travelling and collaborating with many stakeholders internally and externally. If you are a self-starter with a keen interest in Education and some solid marketing experience, this role is for you!

The position is offered on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. It is based in our London office on a hybrid working model.

Role responsibilities:

- Support the marketing manager with planning and delivery of annual marketing campaigns and activities, collaborating and being action oriented

- Write, develop and schedule content for email marketing, social media, websites, blogs and other digital platforms, being social media savvy and monitoring performance and engagement metrics to help optimise future content and campaign activity.

- Create, coordinate and distribute digital and printed marketing materials, including catalogues, promotional assets, eSamples and campaign collateral.

- Coordinate and deliver marketing competitions, promotional initiatives and customer engagement activities.

- Plan, promote and deliver professional development programmes, including webinars, workshops and teacher training events.

- Build and maintain relationships with authors, consultants, agents, booksellers, sales teams and internal stakeholders, communicating effectively

- Support the organisation and delivery of key events including the Caribbean sales conference, bookfairs and sponsored events.

- Travel as required to support workshops, conferences and sponsorship activities across key markets.

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform future marketing activity, using market intelligence

- Support budget administration activities, including expenditure tracking and invoice processing.

- Prepare marketing updates, presentations and internal communications materials.
