39 hours per week | Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00 | 1 in 4 weekend rota (+15% allowance) + on-call (paid separately)

Join Amey's Ministry of Justice team as a Mobile Approved Electrician, supporting approximately six secure sites across the North West. You'll play a key role in keeping critical electrical systems safe, compliant and operational within the prison estate.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, testing and reactive repairs across multiple prison sites.
Acting as the Responsible Person for electrical systems, ensuring statutory and mandatory compliance is maintained.
Undertaking Authorised Person duties, including isolations, permits to work and supervision of electrical works.
Reviewing EICRs, installation certificates and contractor documentation to ensure work meets required standards.
Providing technical electrical support to site teams, carrying out risk assessments and helping manage electrical compliance across your portfolio.
