Summary

Our District Nurse service is a busy and forward thinking provider of community nursing over a 24 hours timeframe and across domiciliary and clinic settings serving a diverse population. We have strong links with all our key stakeholders in particular our General Practitioners. We are looking for a dynamic leader suitably qualified to join our friendly and innovative team. The role encompasses leadership, management and expert clinical skills. Applicants should have a degree in district nursing, have completed the nurse prescribers course, have a teaching qualification and have current NMC registration. Previous experience of working in the NHS within a district nursing team at band 6 or band 7 levels is essential. Applicants will need to be able to travel independently between appointments citywide and be prepared to work flexible hours to cover service demand. Operating hours are from 21.30-0800hrs.
