£23,500 – £27,000

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Hybrid working available after training

Overview

A small, successful drylining contractor with long-standing staff and a supportive culture is looking for an Assistant to join the team. This role suits someone with strong computer skills who is interested in developing a career in construction. Over time, the position can expand into Buying, Quantity Surveying and wider business operations.

You’ll be joining a friendly office, learning from experienced staff, and gaining exposure to multiple areas of the business. Full training is provided, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility as your confidence grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team with day-to-day administration

• Help manage customer care tasks and coordinate remedial works

• Schedule operatives and patchers across multiple sites

• Communicate with site managers, subcontractors and residents

• Maintain Excel trackers, reporting sheets and internal systems

• Assist with quotations, variations and cost tracking

• Organise materials, collections and basic buying tasks

• Keep customer care documentation, photographs and records updated

• Produce weekly and monthly reports

• Provide general operational and commercial support to management
