Are you a morning person who loves getting your workday done early, or do you just need flexible hours that fit around your life? We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic residential home in Burton that is looking for experienced, reliable agency Care Assistants to support their daytime team.

The home specializes in supporting elderly residents living with age-related illnesses, such as Alzheimer’s disease and physical mobility challenges. If you are naturally kind, patient, and want the ultimate freedom of agency work, we would love to have you on team!

What You’ll Be Doing

• High-Standard Care: Delivering excellent day-to-day care, including personal care, while following each resident’s individual support plan.

• Mobility Support: Assisting residents with moving and handling safely throughout the day.

• Daily Support: Being a great listener and a supportive, encouraging presence for the residents.

• Housekeeping and Admin: Helping out with light household duties to keep the home cozy, and completing daily company paperwork accurately.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker.

• A naturally compassionate, patient, and understanding personality.

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a bustling 50-bed home.

• Ready to jump in quickly with your compliance documents ready to go.

To apply for this role you must have the following-

- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months

- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training

- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

Due to the location of the home, it is recommended that you have access to your own transport.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This role offers ongoing flexible working

You will be working from 07:00 to 14:30, with hours available between Monday to Friday.

You will be paid £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.33 per hour after a settling in period.
