Summary

Job Title: Breast Cancer CNS, Band 7 Department: Cancer Nursing Location: 142 -146 Harley Street, London Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional four long days depending on clinic requirements. Salary: £53,931 - £64,710 per annum You will join an established and collaborative breast cancer service, working closely with leading consultants and colleagues across surgery, oncology and the wider multidisciplinary team. As a trusted point of contact for patients and their families, you will provide expert clinical guidance, education and emotional support while helping to coordinate care throughout the pathway. You will work with a high level of autonomy, delivering nurse led clinics and contributing to audit, service development and quality improvement. This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week,Monday to Friday What you'll be doing Act as the primary specialist nurse for patients with breast cancer, providing expert clinical care, education and ongoing support Deliver nurse led follow up, survivorship and rapid access clinics Support patients attending the one stop breast clinic and coordinate their ongoing care Complete specialist assessments, develop individualised care plans and provide preoperative and postoperative counselling Visit patients in the inpatient setting before or after surgery when required Provide telephone follow up and wound review appointments where clinically appropriate Support patients with prosthesis fitting, body image concerns and the emotional impact of treatment Work closely with consultants and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient services Contribute to audit, research, service development and quality improvement Provide supervision and mentorship to junior colleagues, students and new Clinical Nurse Specialists
