Summary
The post holder will provide high-quality clinical care across the Trauma & Orthopaedic service, supporting the delivery of both elective and trauma care at Warwick Hospital. Key responsibilities include: Providing clinical care for patients in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards and theatre. Assessing, diagnosing and managing patients with elective and traumatic orthopaedic conditions. Participating in elective and trauma operating lists and consultant-led ward rounds. Supporting the management of acute trauma admissions and Emergency Department referrals. Working collaboratively with Consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care. Participating in the on-call rota and contributing to service resilience. Supporting the teaching and supervision of junior medical staff and participating in clinical audit, governance and quality improvement activities. Maintaining accurate clinical records and complying with Trust policies, GMC standards and mandatory training requirements.
