More detail about the role As the first point of contact for the department, you will play a key role in providingprofessional reception and administrative support. You will be responsible for welcomingpatients and visitors, checking patients in for cardiac and respiratory diagnostic tests, andresponding to telephone enquiries.The Cardio-Respiratory Department performs a wide variety of cardiac diagnosticprocedures for more than 30,000 patients each year. Excellent communication skills, aprofessional manner, and strong IT skills are essential, as much of the role is computer-based. About YouThe successful candidate will demonstrate: A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work. The ability to remain calm and effective in a busy and sometimes challengingenvironment. Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills. A friendly and professional manner when interacting with patients, visitors, andcolleagues. The ability to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team.You should also have: A qualification in Business Administration, Customer Care, or equivalent relevantexperience. Knowledge of EPIC (desirable; full training will be provided).
