Summary

Key Responsibilities & Clinical ExposureAdvanced Otology: Supervised surgery for complex chronic ear disease, otosclerosis, and middle ear reconstruction. Auditory Implantation: Comprehensive training in cochlear implantation, bone-conducting implants (BCI), and active middle ear implants. Lateral Skull Base: Co-management and surgical treatment of acoustic neuromas, skull base tumours (e.g., glomus, meningioma), and facial nerve reanimation. Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT): Participate in fortnightly skull base, auditory implantation, and neuroradiology MDT meetings. Research & Teaching: Active participation in departmental clinical research programs, clinical audits, and the teaching of junior trainees and medical students.
