Motor Vehicle Lecturer– 37 hours per week (5 days). Employed for 52 weeks per year – up to £43,267.53 (BRK39) depending on
qualifications and experience & benefits to include free parking, excellent holidays & teachers’ pension.

The Engineering Faculty at Brooklands College currently provides a range of vocational training programmes within the fields of
Motor Vehicle and Motorsport Engineering, Aeronautical, Manufacturing, Engineering Science and Maths.
The Faculty delivers courses from Entry Level 3 up to Level 6 BSc Hons Degree. We enjoy an enviable reputation in the industries
we support and have close working relationships with local and national employers through the delivery of technical certificates
and apprenticeship training programmes.
About the role:
As Motor Vehicle Lecturer you will have the enthusiasm and drive to deliver these vocational programmes. Your role will include:
* Teach on a programme of appropriate courses
* Assess, review and record learner progress
* Maintain course and learner records
* To embed employment skills in to the curriculum courses
To fulfil the role of Brickwork Lecturer you will have:
* Degree/HND or relevant professional qualifications & strong industry experience
* City & Guilds or IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Procedures
* Level 2 English & Maths
* Teaching qualifications – or be prepared to work towards this
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be skilled in the use of IT
