This part-time secondment or fixed-term opportunity offers the chance to manage a varied specialist caseload, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and further develop your expertise in diabetes dietetics. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting patients to achieve improved health outcomes and better quality of life.

You will be joining a friendly, experienced, and highly skilled team that is valued across the Trust and forms part of the wider Therapies Directorate. You will work collaboratively with specialist diabetes dietitians, specialist diabetes nurses, diabetes educators, and dietetic assistant practitioners to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

A previous post holder shared their experience of the role:

"I have loved the variety this role has brought. From training healthcare professionals and attending joint clinics with Diabetes Specialist Nurses, to delivering group education sessions for people with type 2 diabetes, every day is different and interesting. The ICDS and diabetes education teams are fantastic teams to be part of, offering great opportunities to learn and develop."
