Summary
Ludgate Ward is the Trusts 10 bedded Male acute admission ward, which is due to be opened in October 2026 and is situated in Medium Secure services. We have vacancies for Staff Nurses (Band 5) with the opening of the new service. This is an exciting opportunity to work and be part of the opening of an acute admissions ward.
As a Staff Nurse, your role will be to provide holistic nursing care to patients from admission to discharge and to work with the ward management team to innovate and inspire change and excellence across all aspects of the care environment. You will be a role model to unregistered nursing staff and able to demonstrate care and compassion in all that you do.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the inpatient wards for enthusiastic Mental Health, Learning Disability, Staff Nurses, Band 5, to join our busy and motivated teams across the unit.
Our aim is to deliver a patient focused care that provides patients with an opportunity to better understand the crisis or behavior that resulted in their admission and to learn coping skills to reduce the risk of relapse.
