We're looking for a Plumbing and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to provide expert plumbing and mechanical maintenance support, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of building services. The role combines hands-on technical delivery with supervisory responsibilities, supporting the coordination of engineering activities and acting as a deputy to the Facilities Manager when required.
Role Responsibilities:
-Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault finding and breakdown response across plumbing, mechanical and associated building services systems.
-Complete all maintenance activities in accordance with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and statutory requirements.
-Undertake plumbing installations, repairs and modifications as required.
-Support general building fabric maintenance and multi-skilled engineering tasks across the site.
Required Qualifications:
-City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
-Level 2 Plumbing Qualification or equivalent.
-Demonstrable experience within a commercial building maintenance or facilities management environment.
