Summary

This post is based at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, part of the West London Children’s Alliance (WLCA) andprovides the general paediatric in-patient service plus many sub-specialities including allergy, nephrology, neurology, haematology, infectious diseases as well as surgical specialities (general paediatric surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, ENT, and urology). There is support available from Westminster CAMHS. The patient acuity and complexity is unusually high and many children have severe underlying health problems or neurodevelopmental problems.
