Summary
Facilities Manager, London, c£45k (£Neg).
We are presently seeking experienced Facilities Managers who ideally has exposure to operational management with longer-term facilities planning to provide a secure, functional and well-maintained working environment along with overseeing contractors, compliance activity, budgets and workplace improvement projects.
Typically you will have had involvement in:
• The day-to-day management of facilities services, including maintenance, security, cleaning, utilities and general site operations.
• Acted as the primary point of contact for facilities-related issues, ensuring matters are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Coordinated planned and reactive maintenance activities across one or more sites.
• Ensured compliance with health, safety, fire, environmental and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Conducted risk assessments, implement appropriate control measures and support ongoing compliance activity.
• Managed facilities operating and capital expenditure budgets, including cost tracking, reporting and identifying opportunities for savings.
• Overseen contractor management, procurement activity and service delivery to ensure safe, efficient and compliant working practices.
• Maintained oversight of asset lifecycle management, equipment audits and facilities records.
• Supported space planning, workplace optimisation and improvements to the working environment.
• Prepared reports, risk reviews, RFQs and operational updates for management.
Requirements:
• Facilities background, single or multi sites.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems, infrastructure, site services and facilities operations.
• Good understanding of UK health, safety, fire, environmental and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting audits, inspections or regulatory compliance activities.
• You must currently reside in the United Kingdom and have full leave to remain. Please note that sponsorship is not available, either now or in the future.
