Summary
An opportunity has arisen to join our Property Services Team as the Facilities Services and Projects Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the facilities/building services team to ensure that the Council’s operational portfolio (excluding Leisure Centres) is inspected, managed, maintained, monitored and compliant through the provision of health & safety, fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene and mechanical and electrical systems.
The role is varied; you will need to be a confident communicator with experience of working within Building Services. The ability to analyse performance data, lead or support cross-functional project teams and manage competing priorities is also essential as is the production of reports to senior management.

Our offices are based in Arnold on the outskirts of the city of Nottingham in a pleasant ‘green flag’ parkland setting with good public transport links.
The role may involve entering Police offices within the Civic Centre, and the successful candidate will be required to pass NPPV Level 2 (Non-Police Personnel Vetting) checks before appointment to the post.
