Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced and caring Residential Children’s Workers to join our team in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, providing daily care, guidance, and emotional support to vulnerable children and young people in residential care settings, and offering a supportive and nurturing environment to help them thrive and develop essential life skills.

Pay rate: £14.25-£16 (depending on experience and level of qualifications)

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for reliable and experienced individuals to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, working closely with a professional team to deliver consistent and high-quality care, maintaining a safe and positive environment, and fostering independence and essential life skills.

Required Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need experience working with children or young people in residential care, strong communication and teamwork skills, a compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts, with a Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification preferred but not essential.
