A rewarding social care opportunity is available for a Personal Assistant to support a gentleman living in Dersingham. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, organised, and compassionate, and who is committed to making a meaningful difference in someone’s day-to-day life.About the RoleIn this role, you will provide practical support to help maintain independence and improve overall wellbeing. The employer lives with ADHD, depression, and fibromyalgia, so patience, understanding, and a calm approach are essential.Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting with meal preparation and batch cooking
• Assisting with general household and domestic tasks
• Running errands as required
• Helping to manage emails and correspondence
• Supporting with organising and attending medical appointments

Location: PE 31Person specification

Essential:

• Calm, reassuring, caring, and patient approach
• Strong organisational skills
• Respect for privacy and confidentiality at all times

Desirable:

• Experience in a similar role
• Flexibility to meet individual needs
• Understanding of ADHD, depression, or chronic illness
• Basic first aid knowledge

Summary terms and conditions· The pay rate for this position is £12.89 per hour· Hours and times of work: 4 hours per week (times to be agreed at interview).· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.

The post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of six months
