Job title: Personal Assistant

Hours: Thursday 1.30-7pm (with possibility for additional weekend cover and occasional trips away for athletic competitions)

Pay: £12.71/hour PLUS 55p per mile petrol cost

Hello, my name is Ellie. I am a positive, intelligent, sporty adult who is looking for an outgoing, friendly, energetic and professional person to provide physical support at athletic events and training throughout the year.

This exciting opportunity is to assist me to attend training (Yate or Gloucester) and to participate in frame running track competitions across the UK.

A typical session will involve transporting me, my wheelchair and running frame to various training/competition venues across the UK , and assisting me track side in all weathers. I will then need support to return home. My wheelchair and sports frame will require transportation with us so access to your own vehicle and being a confident driver is essential. Please note that due to the physical nature of these tasks candidates need to be physically active and in good general health

Light housework and meal preparation at the end of the session will be required. No experience necessary as training will be provided.

Duties include

Lifting of sports equipment

Cleaning and light housework as directed

Ensuring water bottles are replenished

Assisting me to pack/unpack bag

Assisting me with putting ankle supports/shoes on

Transporting me and others when required

To maintain my confidentially at all times
