Duties of a Vehicle Service Technician:

- Conduct vehicle repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards

- Diagnose and repair faults to high industry standards

- Provide clear, detailed reports to customers regarding repairs and maintenance

- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, costs, and service recommendations

- Work collaboratively with team members to meet targets and maintain high customer satisfaction levels

Requirements of a Vehicle Service Technician:

- Fully qualified Automotive Technician (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent)

- Experience working within a dealership environment is desirable

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- MOT licence is advantageous but not essential

- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
