Summary

Main Duties of the Job The successful applicant will be expected to: Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients within General Practice. Undertake chronic disease reviews including Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Hypertension and other long-term conditions. Carry out cervical screening (smear tests). Administer childhood and adult immunisations and vaccinations in accordance with national guidance. Undertake NHS Health Checks. Perform venepuncture, ECGs, Ear Syringing Promote healthy lifestyles through patient education and preventative health interventions. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing care. Recognise deteriorating patients and escalate concerns appropriately. Maintain accurate clinical records using SystmOne. Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives and QOF delivery. Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care. Participate in mandatory training, appraisal and continuing professional development.
