This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy acute hospital environment, supporting adults with complex communication and swallowing difficulties arising from a wide range of medical, respiratory, neurological and critical care conditions. You will manage a specialist caseload, providing assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based intervention for patients with dysphagia, communication impairments and tracheostomy-related needs. Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues across acute medicine and surgery, respiratory medicine, critical care, surgery, care of the elderly and our neuro outliers’ services, and you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and supporting safe discharge planning.
