The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll play a key part in helping children transition from the EYFS curriculum into Key Stage 1. You'll create engaging learning experiences, support pupils as they develop key literacy and numeracy skills and help build the confidence and independence needed for future success.You'll work closely with colleagues and families to ensure every child receives the support and encouragement they need to thrive both academically and personally.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Can deliver creative and engaging lessons that support pupil progress

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are passionate about helping children develop confidence and a love of learning

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring energy, enthusiasm and a nurturing approach to the classroom
