With more than 600 centres, they make a powerful difference to people across the UK who might otherwise be excluded.You will be part of the team at Isle of Wight Homelessness Service (Ryde) which provides accommodations for 46 people and services for those people at risk of becoming homeless across the Isle of Wight. We are looking for a part time support worker, an exciting opportunity to work with residents of The Salvation Army, Isle of Wight Homelessness Service (Ryde). The successful applicant will be a good communicator, enthusiastic and positive, working 28 hours per week on a 4-week rolling rota, including weekends, bank holidays and evenings.Key Responsibilities:The successful applicant will be motivated, passionate and dynamic individual to help us to provide personalised intervention programmes, supporting our residents on their individual journeys from the street to home through the Stages of the Isle of Wight Homelessness Pathway.The role of Support Worker with the Salvation Army is an inspirational one and key to achieving successful outcomes for our vulnerable clients. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality programme of support which promotes client choice and control.
