An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least two years of UK small animal GP experience to join a well-established independent veterinary hospital in Windsor.

Established for over 120 years, this highly respected practice combines outstanding facilities with a supportive, collaborative culture. As an independent practice, it offers genuine clinical freedom, encourages new ideas and continues to invest in modern equipment and the ongoing development of its team.

The successful candidate will join a friendly team of seven vets, including two certificate holders, supported by 11 experienced nurses and a dedicated reception and administration team. The role involves a varied first opinion caseload including consultations, routine surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, inpatient care and medical work-ups. The position is primarily based at the Windsor hospital, with occasional work across the nearby Ascot and Egham branches.

This is a full-time role working four days per week, with one weekend in five. There is no sole charge, no overnight on-call, and Monday and Friday off following the duty weekend. A driving licence is required, with business mileage reimbursed.

The practice actively encourages career progression, with generous CPD, fully funded certificate support and a collaborative environment where vets are empowered to develop their clinical interests.
