The Opportunity

Our client is an independent, multi-award-winning veterinary practice where pets are treated as friends and continuity of care is at the heart of everything they do.

They're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team, primarily based at their charming clinic near Brighton.

You'll be joining a collaborative team of three vets, five nurses and four receptionists, many of whom work flexibly through job-sharing arrangements.

This clinic is well-equipped and provides a high standard of first-opinion care, allowing nurses to fully utilise their skills and play an active role in patient care. Most importantly, you'll be part of a practice that values clinical autonomy, teamwork and doing what's right for each patient without the pressure of targets.

The Role

• Nurse consultations

• Theatre and surgical support

• Inpatient care

• Patient admissions and discharges

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

The Rota

We understand that a fulfilling veterinary career shouldn't come at the expense of your personal life.

Our rota includes:

• 4 x 9.25-hour days per week (37 hours)

• Alternative 5-day working pattern available

• One fixed weekday off (Tuesday or Wednesday)

• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

• Flexible and part-time options considered

• No out-of-hours commitments

• Protected lunch breaks wherever possible

• Overtime rarely required and paid when worked
