An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join Woodcroft Veterinary Group in Stockport, Cheshire.

This friendly and supportive 7-branch practice is committed to delivering outstanding patient care, exceptional client service and a positive working environment. Supported by its own out-of-hours clinic, a Tier 3 Hospital and an experienced multidisciplinary referral team, the practice offers an excellent environment for clinical development.

The role is based within the hospital, caring for inpatients and managing a varied caseload. Some sole charge is required, making this position ideal for a confident Veterinary Surgeon with previous UK small animal practice experience. The average 40-hour week includes daytime hospital shifts (7:30am–5:30pm), twilight shifts (4pm–midnight) and weekends on a fair rota with time off in lieu.

The successful candidate will have access to excellent facilities including CT, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, laparoscopy, electrocautery and advanced anaesthesia equipment, providing exposure to a rewarding and diverse caseload.
