Summary
Our client is a well-established and highly respected property consultancy with a strong presence across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join their dynamic team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded surveyor seeking exposure to a varied portfolio spanning both the public and private sectors. You'll work on a diverse range of professional instructions and project work, collaborating with high-profile clients across commercial, education, healthcare, residential and local authority portfolios.
The Role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you'll be responsible for delivering a broad range of surveying services, including:
• Building surveys and defect diagnosis
• Dilapidations (landlord and tenant)
• Contract administration and project management
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
• Condition surveys
• Party wall matters (desirable)
• Technical due diligence
• Insurance reinstatement projects
• Client relationship management and business development
You'll manage projects from inception through to completion while providing high-quality professional advice to an established client base.
Requirements
We're keen to speak with Building Surveyors who have:
• MRICS Chartered status (essential)
• A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• Proven experience across both public and private sector projects
• Strong technical knowledge of professional surveying services
• Contract administration and project delivery experience
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• A proactive and commercially aware approach
• Full UK driving licence (desirable)
