Summary

Class 2 Refuse Driver - Scunthorpe

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team, working with Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) vehicles carrying out bin collections across the Lincolnshire area, based out of Scunthorpe.

The Role:

  • Driving a Class 2 vehicle for refuse collection routes

  • Operating Roll-on Roll-off equipment

  • Completing bin collections, as well as skip deliveries and collections

  • Working as part of a team, supported by a driver's mate assisting with loading and unloading on bin rounds

  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently

Shift Pattern:

  • Day shifts

  • Start times between 04:00am - 06:00am

  • Includes working every other Saturday

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

  • CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card

  • Previous experience is preferred but not essential - full training can be provided

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Pay & Benefits:

  • £14.35 per hour

  • Overtime after 45 hours: £21.52 per hour
