Summary
The Best Connection Group - Manchester is currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for our client based in Openshaw. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established retailer, offering regular work and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
Pay & Working Hours
- £17.51 per hour basic rate. Time 1/2 after 39 hours worked.
- Double time on Sundays (£35.03 per hour)
- Temp-to-perm position
- 5 on, 3 off shift pattern
- Start times between 21:00 - 01:00
- Approximately 10-hour shifts
- Ongoing, full-time work
Job Role
- Multi-drop deliveries to the client's retail stores across the Manchester area
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Safe and compliant operation of a Class 2 vehicle
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good knowledge of UK road laws and driver hours regulations
