Overview

A well-established and financially secure main contractor with more than 50 years of successful project delivery is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This role offers long-term stability, strong progression opportunities and the chance to take ownership of either multiple smaller projects or one multi-million-pound scheme, depending on experience.

The company delivers projects across healthcare, MOD, commercial and education sectors, covering both new build and refurbishment schemes ranging from £100k to £12m. They are known for integrity, consistent margins, a low‑risk approach to work and extremely fast subcontractor payments within 7 to 14 days.

Key Responsibilities

Package procurement

Processing subcontractor monthly valuations and applications

Project cost control and commercial reporting

Issuing monthly valuations to the client / PQS

Administering variations on the client side

Managing subcontractor accounts through to final account

Supporting commercial decision-making across multiple live schemes

Working closely with project teams to maintain cost, quality and programme control
