Role Overview
Sai Avenue Limited is seeking a proactive and commercially focused Business Development Manager to expand its immigration-services client base, establish professional referral relationships and improve its overall marketing strategy.
The successful candidate will approach businesses, educational organisations, community groups and individuals who may require immigration support. The role will focus on business development, lead generation, relationship management and marketing—not the provision of regulated immigration advice.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and approach businesses that may require immigration support for their employees.
Develop relationships with employers, education providers, accountants, recruitment agencies, community organisations and other potential referral partners.
Create and maintain a reliable referral network for immigration enquiries.
Arrange meetings and presentations to introduce the company’s services.
Identify new markets, partnerships and business-development opportunities.
Attend networking events, exhibitions and community programmes.
Maintain regular contact with existing partners and encourage repeat referrals.
Client Lead Generation
Reach out to individuals and families seeking immigration services.
Respond professionally to initial enquiries and collect basic contact information.
Explain the company’s available services without providing unauthorised immigration advice.
Arrange consultations with the company’s authorised immigration adviser.
Follow up with prospective clients after consultations.
Maintain accurate lead and referral records within the company’s CRM system.
Monitor each enquiry from initial contact through to client onboarding.
Marketing and Brand Development
Review and improve the company’s marketing strategy.
Plan campaigns for relevant immigration services and target audiences.
Coordinate social media, email, website and community-based marketing.
Prepare suitable promotional content with management approval.
Monitor campaign performance, enquiry sources and conversion rates.
Improve the company’s visibility within local and relevant overseas communities.
Ensure all marketing materials are accurate, professional and do not guarantee immigration outcomes.
Reporting and Performance
Maintain an up-to-date business-development pipeline.
Record calls, meetings, referrals and follow-up actions.
Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to management.
Track lead sources, consultation bookings, conversions and referral activity.
Recommend improvements based on client feedback and market trends.
Work toward agreed client-acquisition and revenue targets.
Key Performance Indicators
Number of new business contacts established.
Number of active referral partnerships created.
Number of qualified immigration enquiries generated.
Consultation booking and client-conversion rates.
Revenue generated through new clients and referral relationships.
