Summary

Hafan Gwydir is an Extra Care Housing Scheme that supports people aged 60 and over to live independently in their own homes, with the assistance of tailored domiciliary care and support services.

We are looking for a caring, motivated, and confident individual to join our team as a Support Worker.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing reassurance, support, and assistance to tenants. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering scheduled domiciliary care and support calls to assist individuals with their evening routines.

• Responding promptly to emergency calls through the scheme’s call system.

• Providing practical support and reassurance to tenants when required.

• Responding appropriately to building-related issues and escalating concerns when necessary.

• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all support is delivered in a person-centred and professional manner.

Working Hours

• Shift pattern: 3 shifts a week on a rota

• Hours: 5pm – 9pm

• Weekly hours: 12 hours

• Enhanced rates of pay are provided for unsocial hours working.
