• Location: Preston to Manchester / Nottingham / Nuneaton
• Pay rate: £17 - £18 per hour
• Pay term: Weekly pay (including after the first 12 weeks)

The position above commences full-time on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis (based on business demand / requirements and performance / attendance within the 12-weeks).

NW Recruitment Services Ltd are currently working in exclusive partnership with a well-established transport and logistics operation in the Preston area to recruit experienced HGV Drivers.
We are seeking a HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver (trunking) to join a busy and professional transport team offering regular work, modern vehicles, ongoing support and long-term career prospects.
This role consists of three to five routes, all of which are on allocated booking slots. The nights shift patterns are:
• Sunday - Thursday each week.
• Starting between 7pm - 9pm.
• Typically back to base no later than 5am each morning.
• Weekly pay.
HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E):
• Driving Class 1 articulated vehicles (44T) on scheduled collection & delivery routes.
• Completing vehicle safety inspections before and after shifts.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate tachograph and transport records.
• Securing loads and complying with all transport legislation and company procedures.
• Liaising with the transport office regarding route updates and delivery schedules.
