Summary

A 40 year old gentleman living in own home who cannot be left alone is requiring 24-hour support, looking for a female Support Worker (aged 21+) to join his care team.

Pay: £13.47 per hour with £45 per night for sleepover

Hours of Work

• Monday: 9:30am – 11:00pm, followed by a sleepover

• Tuesday: 7:00am – 11:00pm, followed by a sleepover

• Wednesday: 7:00am – 9:30am

During sleepovers, you will be expected to remain on-site and provide support if the client wakes during the night and requires assistance.

About the Role

Providing person-centred support to enable the client to live as independently as possible

- Assisting with personal care (daily hygiene reminders, supervision of shaving, helping with weather appropriate clothing)

- Assisting with daily living tasks where required - this will cover such things as housework, cleaning windows, ironing, food preparation, tending to two small lawns, and ordering shopping

- Supporting the client with holidays, appointments, social activities, and community outings

- Providing companionship and encouraging independence

- Driving the client to appointments and activities as required

Essential Requirements

• Female Support Worker

• Aged 21 or over

• Full, clean UK driving licence

• Trustworthy, reliable, kind, and compassionate

• Good communication skills and a flexible approach

• Willingness to provide overnight sleepover support and respond if the client wakes during the night
