Summary

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3)

Location: Merritime Nursery, HMS Sultan, Gosport

Contract: Fulltime 32hr a week contract

Salary: National minimum wage (Age related)

Start date: September 2026

Merritime Nursery is a 60-place Nursery that is a warm, creative, and child-centred nursery with a strong focus on play-based learning and the EYFS. Our friendly team works closely with families to help every child thrive to the best of their ability.

Essential requirements

• Right to work in the UK.

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) and satisfactory references.

• Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding; paediatric first aid desirable (or willingness to train).
