Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed HR Advisor to join our small HR Advisory team, providing high quality HR advice across all Council services. If you thrive in a busy and varied environment, this role could be an excellent fit for you.

We are seeking an HR Advisor with approximately three yearsandrsquo; experience managing a full range of complex employee relations casework and the ability to effectively manage a diverse workload. As part of a small team, you will play a key role in delivering a professional and efficient HR advisory service to managers and employees across the Council.

Subject to business needs, the role will also provide opportunities to contribute to policy development and project work.

The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge of employment law, HR policy and best practice. Excellent communication and prioritisation skills are essential, along with the ability to quickly build credibility and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the allocated service areas.

The role offers a combination of remote working from home and attendance at the Town Hall or other Council buildings when required.
