At Haddon House Nursing Home, we’re looking for caring, compassionate individuals to join our supportive team as a Care Assistant.

Haddon House, based in Clowne, S43, provides care and nursing support for older adults and people living with dementia and complex needs. If you care about people and want a rewarding opportunity within a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our residents’ daily lives by:

• Providing person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs and preferences

• Supporting residents with daily living activities such as personal care, meals, and mobility

• Providing support during mealtimes

• Observing and reporting any changes in residents' health, wellbeing, or behaviour

• Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and overall wellbeing

• Working collaboratively as part of a caring, supportive, and dedicated team

Position Details

• Opportunities are available to work days or nights. We can consider Full-time and Part-time applications. However, we are unable to offer 20 hours per week due to shift times.

• Shift times: 07:45-20:00 or 19:45-08:00

• Working pattern: rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays

• Location: Clowne, S43 (Please consider your travel arrangements, including weekends, before applying.)

Pay & Benefits

• £12.80 per hour

• 5.6 weeks annual leave
