Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a reputable commercial vehicle dealership in Northwich, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled HGV Technicians aiming to work within a modern, well-equipped workshop environment, contributing to a top-performing team while benefiting from a comprehensive range of employment perks.

Our client is a well-established main dealer offering a competitive salary package with the potential to earn up to £50,000 per annum. The role operates on a 40-hour week with rotating shifts, including early, late, and alternate Saturday mornings, providing a balanced work-life arrangement. Duties of the HGV Technician:

- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs to manufacturer standards

- Diagnosing faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment

- Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and inspections

- Ensuring all work complies with DVSA and manufacturer procedures

- Maintaining accurate job and repair records

- Working safely within workshop health and safety guidelines

- Providing roadside assistance on a rota basis

- Ensuring workshop cleanliness and organisation

Requirements:

- Qualified HGV Technician (Level 3 qualification or equivalent preferred)

- Previous experience working on commercial vehicles

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

- Proactive team player with a professional attitude

- Full UK driving licence; HGV licence advantageous but not essential

- Ability to work on rotating shift patterns, including early, late, and Saturday shifts
