Summary

Our client, a reputable manufacturer-owned automotive dealership in Stockport, is seeking a highly skilled MOT Technician to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals aiming to develop their career within a stable and progressive environment.

Duties of an MOT Technician:

- Servicing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards

- Conducting MOT tests (where qualified) and basic diagnostics

- Performing vehicle health checks via video and identifying additional work required

- Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard as an MOT Technician

- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment

- Upholding high standards of quality and first-time fix rates

Requirements of an MOT Technician:

- NVQ / IMI or City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum) in Motor Vehicle Technology

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Mechanic

- MOT licence preferred (additional monthly salary uplift applicable)

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Full UK driving licence
