Who we need

We'relooking for a proactive and relationship-focused Work Placement Officer – Construction,to playa central rolein securing,coordinatingand managing high-quality work placement opportunities for Nottingham College students. Working closely with employers, curriculumteamsand colleagues across the College,you'llhelp create valuable industry experiences for learners while building strong employer partnerships and ensuring all placement activity is compliant, accurately recorded and delivers real impact.

Whatyou'llbring

You'llbe a confident and organised professional with experience of building employer relationships and creating opportunities through proactive engagement. Comfortable working to targets and managing multiple priorities,you'llbe passionate about connecting employers with the next generation of construction talent.

  • Strong employer engagement, business development,salesor recruitment experience, including outbound communication and networking.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage a caseload andmaintainaccuraterecords.
  • Confident communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with employers and internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements, including health and safety and work placement processes.
  • Experience using CRM or database systems to track activity and produce reports.
  • Knowledge of, or experience within, the construction sector would beadvantageous.
