Summary
As a Transport Manager, you will be managing the smooth operation of the Transport Office, compiling and maintaining documentation and managing information.
Ensuring drivers depart on time, processing vital information, issuing journey details and booking staff on and off shift, this is a role as challenging as it is demanding.
To succeed, you will need to have strong PC skills and knowledge of transport hours and regulations. Articulate, professional and well organised, your ability to use your initiative and stay on top of several tasks at once will prove invaluable.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Communication
Ensure Arrangement of daily delivery schedules to meet business needs.
Maximise efficiency of vehicle usage.
Responsible for regular maintenance of all vehicles under ministry guidelines.
Responsible for all Transport Law & training.
Accountable for all diesel usage.
Skills
Comprehensive & up to date knowledge of Transport & employment law is essential.
Familiarity with transport management systems
Competent in transport operations legislation
Working knowledge of transport/driver hours and regulations
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.
