Summary
The Best Connection are working with our client based in Middlesbrough to source an additional Class One (CE Licence) Driver for day shifts and tramping work.
This role could turn permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
Starting at the Middlesbrough hub you will be driving across the country to deliver goods using flatbed vehicles.
Strapping and securing load, including using chains
All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
Achieving delivery slots
Using website-based delivery scheduling
Completion of electronic delivery notes and any associated paperwork
Pay Rate:
£15.00 per hour plus a generous night out allowance (£26.00) when tramping.
The Driver:
C+E Licence, CPC and DIGI Card
Minimum of 1 years experience for Insurance Purposes
Experience delivering Steel products a distinct advantage
Preference will be given to candidates who also hold a Fork Truck Licence and or overhead crane
