Summary
The Best Connection Portsmouth are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Segensworth for HGV Class 2 Drivers.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Operate HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
- Deliver cages and pallets of wholesale goods to shops.
- Ensure correct placement in line with site requirements
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g. delivery notes)
- Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and site personnel
- Secure loads correctly and ensure transported safely
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Keep vehicle clean and presentable
This role is available for ongoing or temp to perm role for the right candidate
Hours of work:
- 05:00 starts each day ( willing to be flexible as this could change )
- Standard day will finish around 2pm each day, this could vary depending on various factors (routes, traffic)
Pay Rates:
- £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday
- Min 8 hours paid per day
You will need to have:
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- Digi Card
- CPC Card
- Previous experience preferred but not essential.
