- Fri, 32.5 hours per week. Term Time only, 36 working weeks (4.328 Holiday) paid week 40.328. Salary: £16,658.49 Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team working at Derby College Group – Roundhouse, Derby, DE24 8JE. 

To assist in the day to day running of the unit – making drinks to order, serving food to order, and providing excellent customer service throughout.

What you’ll do: 

- Basic food preparation if required including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required. 

- Serving students, ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service. 

- Stocking up and putting away deliveries 

- Serving food and clearing tables/bins/trays 

- General cleaning back and front-of-house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.  

What we’re looking for: 

- Food hygiene certificate – Level 2 desirable. However, relevant training will be provided. 

- No previous experience required, but 1-2 years’ experience in a food services or retail environment desirable 

- Work well as part of a team 

- Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
