Summary
Clarendon Homes are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Driver/General Labourer to work on our busy projects in Maidstone, Kent and surrounding areas. This role combines driving duties with hands-on work across construction sites and garden/grounds maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will be flexible, physically fit, and willing to support a range of tasks as required.
Driving Duties
• Safely transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Ensure loads are secure and comply with safety regulations
• Assist with deliveries and collections as needed
Construction Labouring
• Support tradespeople on-site (e.g. groundworkers, builders, landscapers)
• Load and unload materials
• Assist with general site preparation and clean-up
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Operate basic hand and power tools (training can be provided if needed)
Gardening & Grounds Maintenance
• General garden maintenance (grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding)
• Basic landscaping tasks
• Site tidying and upkeep
• Supporting seasonal outdoor work
