Summary
Tutor – SEND / SEMH | Warrington & Surrounding Areas
Integra Education is committed to supporting Looked After Children (LAC), students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and young people experiencing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, including those who are currently out of mainstream education.
Due to a significant increase in demand, we are receiving a high volume of tuition requests across Warrington and the surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity for passionate tutors to make a real difference in the lives of students who require additional, tailored support.
This is a long-term role focused on providing consistency, building trust, and helping students overcome barriers to learning while working towards positive educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Support students working below age-related expectations
- Build positive, supportive relationships to encourage engagement and progress
- Deliver English and Maths tuition up to GCSE level
- A UK-recognised teaching qualification or proven tuition experience
- Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs (essential)
- Strong subject knowledge, particularly in English and Maths
- The ability to differentiate lessons effectively
- A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
- Competitive pay of up to £28 per hour (umbrella)
