Duties

- Inspect, service, and repair trailers to ensure optimal safety and functionality

- Complete all compliance documentation accurately and efficiently as a HGV Trailer Technician

- Diagnose faults with EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE

- Conduct welding and repair work as required

- Follow all health and safety guidelines within the workshop environment

- Participate in ongoing training including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW, and SAF axle/brake systems

- Provide excellent customer service while adhering to tight deadlines

Requirements as a HGV Trailer Technician:

- Proven experience as a Trailer Technician or HGV Technician in the Automotive or Transport Industry

- Industry recognised qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ

- Desirable: HGV Class 1 driving licence

- EBS diagnostics experience with systems like Knorr Bremse, Haldex, and WABCO

- Welding certification advantageous

- Experience with axle and brake systems, tail lifts, and maintenance of double-deck or lifting decks beneficial
