What you will be doing:

  • Leading
  • a team of Health Care Assistants, acting as a positive role model and

    trusted point of support.

  • Assisting
  • with personal care, and supporting our residents during the night.

  • Administering
  • medication (following training and guidelines).

  • Updating
  • care plans and maintaining accurate records.

  • Delivering
  • the highest standard of person-centred care, promoting dignity, independence,

    and wellbeing for every resident.

  • Maintaining
  • a clean, organised, and hygienic environment.

  • Supporting
  • family members and visitors.

What you need to succeed:

  • At
  • least a minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering care or as a Senior

    Care Assistant.

  • Level
  • 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up/or

    working towards it).

  • Trained
  • in medication administration.

  • Excellent
  • people and customer service skills.

  • Ability
  • to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.

  • Time
  • management skills to delegate tasks within a team.

  • Excellent
  • communication skills – verbal (within the team and to other external

    professionals) and writing (ability to write and maintain care plans) and digital

    skills.

  • Caring
  • attitude.

  • Flexible
  • and reliable.
